Blogger Zombie Walk!!
So, for the Zombie Blogger Walk, I decided to do a post on the top 10 Zombie Movies!
10. Day of the Dead (1985)
Do I really need to explain why I put this movie on this list? It's a classic, it had to be here! And because I hate the 2008 version.
9. Army of Darkness
In three words, Bruce Campbell, "Boomstick," AND dead creatures...and witches...and awesomeness! Ok, so a little more than three words!
8. 28 Weeks Later
I don't know why, but I really liked this movie. But, like I've said in earlier posts, I seem to like a lot of movies that people HATE!
7. The Walking Dead
I know it's not a movie BUT I had to include this show in my list because, a) it's an awesome show b) it's about zombies and c) I can, that's why! I wish they made more zombie shows!
6. Night of the Living Dead
This, to me, is another classic. Enough said!
5. Zombieland
I think this movie is generally hated by people, which is why I like it! haha. No, not really. But I liked it. I thought it was good. So it made my list!
4. Land of the Dead
I like this movie. Actually, I love this movie. I think it's awesome that the zombies were a little smarter. Well, one of them was. It makes for some more interesting fight scenes. And there were some parts where the zombies would get a hold of one of the characters and kill them in a way that gave you chills. Like, when that guy had a zombie rip his hand apart through his fingers.
3. Re-animator
I really can't put into words how much I love the Re-animator movies. I love them. I think everyone in the whole world should see them because they....are....awesome!
2. Shaun of the Dead
Another great movie. It was funny, it had zombies, it was great! You kind of run out of things to say about zombie movies after the first few haha. I love it though!
1. Return of the Living Dead
I will always love this movie and it's ALL because of one word
"Brains!"
I'm interested to know what everyone else's favorite zombie movies are. If you want to name a few, please do in the comments. ALSO! I'm planning on having a Halloween giveaway!! Because I love Halloween. It will probably only be for my followers but I can assure you, it will include DVDs and Halloween candy. Who doesn't love that? So make sure you follow to keep updated with that!

I really liked Zombieland, too. Great list, I don't think I could add to it. :)
ReplyDeleteKiller list! You definitely got #1 right! That is the movie that started it all for me. Zombies rule!
ReplyDeleteThat list was spot on! Okay, now I'm in the mood for zombie movies! I think I'll do a marathon my next day off and put these on the list. I could see 10 in one day, right?
ReplyDeleteGreat list a lot of these would be on my list. I also love Fido, Dead Alive, Let Sleeping Corpses Lie, The Beyond. There is a lot :)
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of great Zombie films, but this was a great list! Fantastic!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great list. I LOVE Zombieland. It will end up a cult classic if for nothing else than Woody Harrelson's, er, Tallahassee's obsession with Twinkies - "Where are ya, ya spongy, yellow delicious bastards?" Love that line.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you included Shaun Of The Dead on this list. Edgar Wright is my favourite director! xx
ReplyDeleteFantastic post! I love "The Walking Dead" on AMC, such a great show. Can't wait for the new season to start in October.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. Zombies ROCK!! :-D

Check Out My Books!
BTW, my fav zombie movie is "NIGHT OF THE COMET"
ReplyDeleteZombilicious! "The Walking Dead" FTW!
ReplyDeleteYou just listed most of my favorite zombie flicks. I will say that 28 DAYS LATER was better than 28 WEEKS LATER. I'm not a hater, I liked the second one just fine, but the first was spectacular. Also, I know it goes against most people's beliefs, but I thought the 2004 remake of DAWN OF THE DEAD was way better than the original 1978 version. Then again, I like my zombies with some rage to them.
ReplyDeleteBrainsssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss...
ReplyDeleteI love zombie movies as well... you listed some that I havent seen... so they are on my list!!
~shoes~
Yup great movies
ReplyDeleteGood call on the walking dead. Love that show. Can't wait for season 2
ReplyDeleteExcellent list! The dead is a pretty good zombie flick too. it takes place in Africa. Zombie Flesh Eaters, also one of my favorite's. Zombie Vs. Shark, how can you not like that. Dance of the dead, was a pretty decent zombie flick. You should check them out :)
ReplyDeleteWhen it comes to zombie movies, no one can do better than Lucio Fulci.
ReplyDelete~Vanessa Morgan
Great list! I pick 'The Walking Dead' as my favourite. That show is brilliant!!
ReplyDeleteRe-animator is a great film.
ReplyDeleteGreat list, for me I'd say best one is 28 days later. I missed a lot of the older films
ReplyDeleteGreat list! Re-animator, Zombie Flesh Eaters (Zombi 2), and Return of the Living Dead are among my favourite zombie movies. Shaun of the Dead and Army of Darkness are amusing too :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, even though it's not what people think of as zombies nowadays, White Zombie was a pretty fantastic classic horror with Bela Lugosi in.
Zombieland is amazing! Its easily up there with Evil Dead to me.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to quibble about the Evil Dead/Army of Darkness movies being here as zombies. They weren't just reanimated corpses; they were bodies possessed by demons, which then became known as "deadites".
ReplyDeleteguys you know where to find some awesome Zombies Games ?
